ONE DAY WORKSHOPS AND SPECIALIST COURSES
One day workshop for beginners and intermediates £99.00
The day workshop is designed for people who have not had the opportunity to make a lead light or stained glass panel before or for people with only a little experience.The day starts at 9am and ends between 4pm-5pm. Lunch is included. All materials and tools are supplied. There is a maximum of five people in a class.You will learn the correct way to use a glass cutter, cut glass to the correct size, cut lead, solder, seal a lead light and cleaning a lead light. You will have the opportunity to question anything you do not understand or ask if you need extra help on a part that you find difficult. The day is designed to be enjoyable and leave you with the desire to make your own panel at home. After the course, anyone that has a problem or needs help is welcome to call into the workshop where help and advice can be given
Basic painting on glass & lead light making
2 day workshop £180.00
The first day will be spent learning to paint on glass including fireing in the kiln, learning to use the brushes and paint. The first day starts at 9am and will end at around 5pm. The second day will be spent learning to make a lead light with the painted glass from the day before.
Basic sandblasting onto glass & lead light making
2 day workshop £180.00
The first day will be spent learning how to cut out patterns and stick them to a piece of glass, as well as learning to use the sand blasting equipment to etch into the glass. Each day has a 9am start and will end at 5pm. The second day will be spent learning to make a lead light with the glass from the day before.
Basic painting on glass
1 day workshop £99.00
